Mortgages

We are happy to assist clients select the best mortgage for their particular circumstances. There are several thousand mortgages on the market and we evaluate them on the basis of least overall cost for the period envisaged. We guide clients through the minefield of whether to opt for:

• a fixed rate or a tracker
• a repayment or an interest-only mortgage
• a conventional or an offset mortgage

If an interest-only mortgage is selected, we can advise on a suitable investment plan for the eventual repayment of the mortgage. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

For mortgage advice we can be paid by commission or we can charge a fee of typically 0.35% of the loan amount.
